A Cuvée corked with string commemorating an historic event: two letters and a date that symbolize an important milestone in the history of the "sacred wine". 1735 was the year in which Louis XV signed a royal ordinance (O.R.) on March 8, authorizing the use of bottles to transport the precious nectar abroad, which until then had traveled in barrels. The Champagne bottle was born. For this cuvée O.R 1735, the link with the past went so far as to use a two-strand oiled hemp twine cork, the whole being finished off with a wax seal, which at the time enabled Champagne to be transported without too much risk. In just over 20 years, the cuvée has only been produced five times, in 1993, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2004. An elitist and confidential Champagne, since the volume does not exceed 5,000 bottles.
